How It Works

PLANNING & PREPARATION
Collect all the photos from friends and family members that you would like to include. Be sure to
include images from various times in their life, not only recent photos. If possible, include baby,
military service, wedding, and other memorable moments. Make sure you don’t duplicate the same
photos.
MUSIC SELECTION
Typically our clients elect to have soft instrumental music playing during the presentation. We can
add guitar, piano, or string-based instrumentals, whichever you decide. A less popular alternative is to
use a commercially released song.
MEETING & AGREEMENT
Once you have decided on the photos and music for your Time Capsule, we will meet with you to
answer any questions you might have, and we will personally receive your cherished photos. We also
require an agreement be signed which covers cost and other details.
PHOTO DIGITIZING
Once the photos are in our studio, they are only touched with cotton gloves to preserve them to the
best of our ability while you entrust us with them. No alteration is made to the original photos. The
images are either scanned or “snapshotted” and imported into our computers. They are then cleaned
up, which includes color adjustment and edges being trimmed digitally.
DESIGN OF PRESENTATION
The next step includes arranging the photos in our design software, adding slight panning and zooming
to each photo, indivitually highlighting the point of interest in each image. The music you’ve selected
is put in place, and the presentation is reviewed, converted to DVD, and reviewed again.
PRESENTATION
We have tabletop video monitors available to you, which will loop the playback of the entire
presentation. Those who come to pay their respects will have the opportunity to have a glimpse of
the life of your loved one. Once the viewing is over, the DVD will be given to you for you to take
home and remember your loved one time and time again.
